Resilience is the ability to acknowledge stress, challenges, and traumatic events as part of life and emerge stronger from them.
It can be developed by strengthening our abilities to:
1. recognize, understand, and regulate our own emotions.
2. remain flexible, adopt different perspectives, and find creative solutions.
3. seek and accept support and help.
4. master our own lives independently.
5. look optimistically into the future and set goals.
Resilience springs from the power of self-love. Every loving action, whether towards oneself or others, enriches universal love.
