Despair
Here I stand and wait,
it is my turn.
You glare at me and know,
that I now lend myself to you.
Yes, give me no chance,
gebt keine Gnade mir,
do not heed my cries,,
let your greed run free.
And when you crush me
with your strong arms,
laugh in my face
and show no pity.
Pull at my limbs
until the joints snap.
twist my head
until the vertebrae crack.
But do not heed my lament,
be louder than my plea.
Find joy in the pain
I must endure.
Play tug-of-war with my veins,
torture my brain,
smash my hands,
bite into my brow.
Shatter my teeth
and break my knees,
trample my feet,
treat me like cattle.
Blind my eyes,
hit my ears,
and no matter how I beg,
oh, if only I were never born!
And when you have fulfilled
your great duty,
tear out my heart
and then
light me a candle.
